Terms and Conditions

Each piece of furniture is subjected to a rigorous cleaning, sanding and stripping down, before being lovingly re-designed and remodelled into a unique one of a kind.  And although every effort has been made to remove all scuffs and scrapes from many happy years of use, as these items are vintage in age some wear and tear may still remain.

Where the aesthetics of the design are important so is safety, all armchairs and footstools comply with the UK fire regulations, having new stuffings and foams and using fabrics that have either been treated with a fire retardant or are fabrics made from natural fibres and used with an inter liner.

Sarah Peterson Design furniture is painted and stained using  a variety of finishes, these include - a variety of different paints, oils and varnishes.  These finishes are all tough and durable to normal wear and tear, however your furniture does need some protection, think of it as a piece of antique furniture, use coasters and avoid scratchy objects being placed on the surface.  Please don’t use any harsh cleaning products on the waxed or oiled surface, a cloth or duster is all that is needed, and try to keep your furniture away from extreme temperatures and humidity.

This website is not a selling platform, it is for information on the services and products that I supply and offer.

The pieces of furniture pictured on this website are not for sale, these are archive pieces that have already been sold, but if you saw something you liked on the website this could be recreated onto another piece of furniture through my commission service, just get in touch.
